• Performed the first LASIK procedure in North America in 1993
• Built the first excimer laser in the world, approved by the FDA for the LASIK procedure
• The first in the world to use radial keratotomy following keratomileusis
• Developed the ACE procedure for presbyopia
• Developed the only 49 beamlet LASIK in the world, which produces a smoother surface, resulting in less chance of halos, ghosting or decreases in clarity
• Dedicated to the most advanced technology – Kremer was the first in the Philadelphia region to perform no-stitch cataract procedures, to offer IntraLase bladeless LASIK, and to use the newest generation of multi-focal lenses for patients who wear reading glasses.
